M y day job involves a lot of systems admin and consultancy but my main passion is web development and open source software. I believe in using the best tools for the job rather than evangelising about a particular framework or technology, however some of my favourites and therefore most used technologies are Ruby on Rails, Padrino and MODX.

When I'm not basking in the warm glow of a laptop screen I can often be found in a pub, normally climbing aboard a very high horse and ranting about something or other.

This site is a mainly a landing page, I have used this address for many years and this way it can point to all my most important bits of the web. I am often dreaming up side projects and experiments and once I stop procrastinating and actually make them they will be hosted here.
